Author Topic: Just Started Lock Picking. Any Tips?  (Read 1941 times)

Practice on your neighbor's homes and cars late at night.

Take a safe and try and open it rapidly.

We use a credit card on mai door. Screw cutting them up, they're useful.

Umm... lol, sounds fun. What was in the drawers?

Nothing.
I always wanted to do lockpicking. D:

Anyway, don't target only one pin, sometimes it uses more.  Look at the pattern on your house key to find out which pins it raises up, and which ones it keeps down.
I know. I was just saying the the drawers only seem to have one pin to have to fiddle with. It has 5 pins, but I only needed to play with one.
I know that the door locks also have five, and I have to mess with more, but it seems to be much harder When trying to get them all.

For house doors, use a flexible credit card. Get it in between the metal latch thingy and the hole it fits in, and push on the door while jiggling.

It's how my mom gets us back inside if we lock ourselves out.

:3
Are you serious? Do you only lock your house with a door that is essentially equivalent in security to a closet? No deadbolt, at all anywhere?

This isn't NetHack, you can put your Yendorian Express card back in your wallet now.
Oh my god I love you
