Author Topic: Photobucket bandwidth exceeded, pictures aren't coming back.  (Read 3822 times)

I recently exceeded my photobucket bandwidth. I assumed removing pictures would solve the problem, but it doesn't seem to be working. I don't know anything about how this stuff works, anyone know what I should do?

No, I want my pictures back.

This is why I do not like Photobucket.

I didn't think anything like this would happen. Considering I don't know anything about bandwidth, I assumed that my bandwidth would run out when I ran out of space. I'm currently at 59 MB, or 11%.

Ah, fantastic. Looks like I have to wait until the next monthly anniversary date of my sign-up.

That's the 8th.

Of November...?

That's what I plan on doing, though I'm probably just going to leave the broken pictures alone and use tinypic or imageshack if I want to post any. I mean, like grumpy said, it's only 7 days.

Oh, just found this:
Quote
Bandwidth is not a measure of how many images and videos are in your album. Rather, it is a measure of how many times the media in your album is being viewed from locations on the Internet where you have posted links to your media.

Bandwidth is cumulative over time and does not go down until it is reset. Your bandwidth usage resets to 0 each month on the anniversary of the day that you originally registered.

So I can either remove links from various places on the forums or wait 7 days. I'll look around and see if I can take any away, and if it doesn't work I'll just wait it out.
