Author Topic: Photobucket bandwidth exceeded, pictures aren't coming back.  (Read 4151 times)

Bandwidth isn't storage space. Its how much data is transferred.

I just started using picasa. I can set up a folder on my computer and throw pictures in it and they automatically appear on the internet. And there's no bandwidth cap.

Thanks, but I just found that out.

Oh, just found this:

Bandwidth is not a measure of how many images and videos are in your album. Rather, it is a measure of how many times the media in your album is being viewed from locations on the Internet where you have posted links to your media.

Bandwidth is cumulative over time and does not go down until it is reset. Your bandwidth usage resets to 0 each month on the anniversary of the day that you originally registered.

I went back and removed a few picture links from some older posts, but it's still exceeded. I'll just wait 'till the 8th. The only problem is I know this is going to happen again. How do I prevent it while still using Photobucket?

When most of my photobucket pictures disappear into the depths of the forum, I'm going to probably do this. That sounds amazing.

Don't you dare start a cross-posting fight. Back to the other topic with you.

You could upgrade to Pro! Well, if you don't want to...you could always try keeping them on the computer!
