I am nearly 100% sure that there are no syntax errors in any of the default operations of the game.  They are almost certainly caused by add-ons.  If you want to find out what add-on is causing it, you can do a console trace.

Single Player doesn't use any of the online functions. You can make a Single Player server when not authenticated so it uses that BL_ID.

Syntax error in input.
Posting to RTB server
Same thing when they server DL stuff:

Sending file blah blah blah
Syntax Error in input x 25
It lags my server when it syntax errors. Also, this happens with most everyone on my server.

Guaranteed caused by an add-on.

I'm usually on the forums when I can't be on that long. It would therefore be pointless to work on something for ten minutes.

When I am crouched under something that cannot be stood under, and I go out from it sometimes I am stuck crouching 'till I hit shift a few times.

I don't know if you consider this a bug or just a simple change that changes add-ons that do it, but when an add-on shows text on the bottom, only the first line appears completely. The rest is cut off. I'm pretty sure this didn't happen in V12, so I thought I'd mention it.

If its something you want the addon's to update to fix, sorry for posting again :)

Disable auto query master server in advanced options.

Edit: Unless I'm not getting what you're saying at all.

It sorts lowest pings to the top by default.  Lowest pings provide the best gameplay experience.

The game has never saved your sorting preferences between sessions.
