Author Topic: Daily Stupid Voicemail?  (Read 2254 times)

So this has started about 3 days ago, I keep getting this voice message everyday and it says:
"Delete this message if it is not for you, this is Chelsie with Enhanced Recovery Corporation. We are a collections agency attempting to collect (a dat?), and any information obtained will be used for that purpose. Please contact the about this business matter at, 800-390-7617 and provide the following reference number, 22917757."
This is word by word, it's getting annoying, I don't know what it is. I haven't dared called... anyone know what it is? And also, it sounds like this has been done with "Microsoft Chelsie", if anyone knows what I mean.

Hm. Probably someone just trying to annoy you with Microsoft (voice) recordings.

Ask your phone provider? They could probably tell you where it's coming from or stop you receiving from that number.

What I was going to say.

D:
I've also noticed at least 1-2 people I don't know, call me in the morning... one number I don't know is, that message number, I answered it once and sounded like a Chinese dude hanging up, because I heard some background noise. Another is 801-682-4806, which has called me about 2 times now in the morning...
I should also mention, someone had stolen my phone about 2 years ago, we had all those numbers blocked though.
Edit: More...
801-259-0917
801-598-6382
+18012305169
801-682-4806
801-446-2156
800-390-7617
A few of those above have called me twice...

Are you interested in dimsims?

Another call from them. This time in school. :(
Dad said he can't block the phone number.

I was getting harassed by "rentacenter" wanting to collect money.  I finally told said "the guy your trying to reach is in jail for the possession of marijuana please call back in five years.  Never got another call from then since!

I'm gonna call him back tommorow with a soundboard. I don't know if it's a good idea or not though. =/

The person who stole my phone a while back kept it and used it for a debt or something.
Any suggestions? D:
Skype called and my worries are comfirmed. It's ERC.

Oh damn :\

Best thing you can do is consult an attorney and see if this debt is only obtainable by a person 18+ if so, you're home free. If not, well not sure what to tell you.
