RTB V2 Add-ons (Idea Abandoned)

As you know, Ephialtes recently removed add-ons from RTB V2. Although I'm sure his reasoning was legitimate, it puts forth some inconvenience for people who never saw the notice that he would be doing so. Some people who posted add-ons people enjoy have left, and couldn't update the link anyway.

So, to compensate, should I turn this into an RTB V2 add-on thread where people can request and upload add-ons that are no longer available on the forum?

Pros	Add-ons that are no longer available on the forum can be obtained.
	Will cut down on request threads.
Cons	May conflict with unknown reasoning for removing original add-ons.
	Owners of add-ons may not want their add-ons re-released in this thread.

Badspot, Rotondo, or Ephialtes, please tell me if there is a reason this should not be done and I will lock it immediately, if you don't do it yourselves.

I recall a lot of people weren't even aware of v3 or the v3 forums until the old address redirected.

Places we posted a warning:

• Stickied at the top of every single page on the old RTB Forums
• Sticked on the new RTB forums
• a big red banner on top of the old RTB forums that said the forums were going down and redirected you to the new forums
• In a couple of different threads on the Blockland forums
• On the front page of the RTB website
• eventually we redirected the whole forum page to the new forum page where people should have seen the sticky
• in the RTB RSS feed
• in the news section of the old RTB mod manager so you would see it when you started up RTB2

We did everything short of spamming up the email inbox of all of our members, since there were a lot of very old inactive accounts on the RTB forums and emailing everyone just wasn't practical (especially when it would all get sorted into spam boxes). If you missed the announcement, there isn't really anything I can do. We could have carved the message into Mt. Rushmore right over Washington's face, sent a memo to every school so they could announce it over the PA system, have me personally hand deliver a stamped letter to every household, and hijacked the early warning system and broadcast the message from every single television on the entire planet and you people would have still missed it.
