whenever i make a server, it goes on for, like, maybe an hour and no one has joined. then when i join a server, usually the bedroom clock says something under 30 mins. one time i visited one that sayed 2 mins. how do i make a server that gets really popular really fast? AND YES, I DID CHECK FOR IT TO BE ONLINE!

maybe your ports arent forwarded lol.

no one joins my server because i dont use more then 2 addons. they all think its boring

to prove bisjac's point:

i'm a modder, whenever my server is up there's generally something up. new, awesome concept, new add-on, new gamemode... yeah. i guess add-ons are like people magnets or something, at least when you do it right

Let's just make this easy guys.

If you do not know what port forwarding is, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO HOST A SERVER! It isn't worth your time. When you have a little more knowledge in computers and networking (and grammar) give it a shot.

Host things that are creative, unique and aren't spammy.
Don't be a badmin. If someone does something stupid just warn them and tell everyone to read the rules (I suggest something like GRules).

It's not like the duplicator uses a custom model, either.

You could find a port fowards program and check all required blockland ports, if both work, use that one, as long as its within the port foward requirements list, also turn off firewall, i think that works....
