Author Topic: YouTube partners?  (Read 1368 times)

No this isn't a post asking how to become one, this is a post asking if I should consider it.

I mean... look at this:

For those who don't know what that is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l5x3ICOUwGA&feature=player_profilepage

It's been two years and that video has racked up a lot of views, finally they tell me I can go ahead and be a partner. Not even like apply to be, just be one.

I'm really thinking of doing it as I'll probably upload more Blockland machinima work that could gain some high views as well.

Just tell me what you all think of this.

I'd do it if I were you.

Wow, not even 500,000 views and your offered to be a partner?...seems easy :P

On Topic:
Do it.

Eh, kinda questioning it though.

In order to be a partner I have to have an original video.

I mean, my Halo video is just Halo with my face on it. I don't think it'll work.

i call first 20 bucks

EDIT:
Wow, not even 500,000 views and your offered to be a partner?...seems easy :P

On Topic:
You're stupid. Think of 500,000 people in a room, and subtract the 50,000 that watched it twice.

That is not a small ammount; I doubt you could get over 5,000 yourself.

They're offering me partnership for a semi-stuff sprite movie with 25k views.

Of course, I'd probably be denied, about half my content is unoriginal; they say it has to be completely your content.

I call lies.

I call lies.
I'll show you a picture eventually, I clicked the "maybe later" button.

Even if you did apply for it, you wouldn't get it. In order to have a partnership you need to have a large amount of subscribes along with uploading videos that people enjoy often.

again, lies

Haha, you're getting Partnership for a trap video? Sometimes, I think Youtube is pretty dumb. Either that or they have a sense of humor.

I think DasBoSchitt refused a partnership with machinima.com because he didn't want to be forced to create content every week.

Do I even have to say "InB4ItsATrap"
