You people really don't understand the significance of this. If they do find water on the moon, it opens up many possibilities for future space exploration. Water is a vital resource, and having a source far from Earth is important.
Just imagine the Human race expanding far beyond our Solar system to colonize new worlds. There's even a possibility of us living on one of Jupiter's moons.
But to venture to a point of long distance space travel, we would need some device capable of transporting human ships to the speed of light to bring us to other systems.
