it annoys me that people say to use the search button, i search and search and it takes normally hours to find what i am looking for. does anyone else have the same problem from time, to time?

No. Search usually works really well for me.

It's very simple to use if you know how it works.
Like this;
You search say,
Apple Pie.
Instead of searching the forums for posts containing "Apple Pie" It searches for both words, but individually.
Also, longer searches have less results.
Like this;
If you search "Bio-Force Gun or Big loving Gun"
you get like ten results. Instead of the above search, just do "BFG9000"
Hopefully this will help you get a better understanding of the search engine.

Don't just look everywhere, and in message bodies.
Check off "Search in topic titles only" and scroll down to:
Choose a board to search in, or search all
[ x ] Check all
Turn off check all, expand the list, and click only Add-ons and RTB Listings.

Learn how to search. You're probably so bad you'll get Snails out of searching for hair cutting place.

It usually works best if you use as little words as possible.

It'll take you hours to get a response also.  So why not search it'll probably take about the same time for someone to help you.

Because that would be a problem with your internet.

I haven't had a problem with it. Well with anything I actually need to do with search.

Often times it gives you irrelevant results, or it searches all boards instead of only the one you specify.

This is hardly ever a problem, though, and if it is, just Google.

Relevancy depends on how you search for it.
