I still have a strong feeling that Uranian Um... Calliope... I guess? is to Lord English what Undying Umbrage is to the Horrorterrors, which is kinda supported when Calliope (Man this is gonna be a pain to get used to) described her brother's interest in games with the word "Horror." The rivalry between Skipper Plumbthroat and the Squiddles pretty well indicates opposition between Lord English and the Noble Circle of Horrorterrors, which matches the relationship between Calliope and uu. I don't think the name will be Calamasis because that has nine letters, and I suspect that being related, her brother's would match her eight, as is the pattern with names in the story.

We also know that Roxy's mother - who wrote Complacency of the Learned - intended it as allegory for what had happened on Earth.
Now, this is probably just my lack of sleep talking here (I have been working some really odd shifts the past couple of days), but... what if Rose got the inspiration for CotL because she had been in contact with a future version of undyingUmbrage?
I know this sounds like a wild-ass theory, but hear me out.
Remember how Zazzerpan defeated Calmasis in a game of chess, and how Calliope's "brother" pulled off a similar feat by disguising his king as his queen and vice versa?
Furthermore... there's the name of Zazzerpan's opponent, Calmasis. This could very well be a deliberately-elided reference to Calliope:
"Calliope, my 'sister'"
