Anyways, I'm on the part where Rose enters the game and John makes it into the portal. There seemed to be alot going on, and I'm still pretty confused. Explanation please? Also, what's this midnight crew thing, and why is it appearing in so many parts of the story?

Yeah I was confused when Jade started doing all that weird stuff, but you kinda get the hang of her playing style later.

Probably the best spoiler free ways of catching up to everything is either rereading it or reading up to the next recap. The first is around the middle of act 4.

The midnight crew is a minor detail early on, a slightly relevant sub-plot during the intermission, which you're in now, and it gets fully explained later on.

So I finished the intermission. The only thing Midnight Club seemed to have to do with the story is that he is also one of those exiled (maybe) and he guided that troll kid. The reason I say troll is because I think I saw it on the OP. Also, seemingly all the characters in the darkness kingdom thing are the midnight club, and they were probably exiled by those green torsos, and we're here. That's just a guess, but don't spoil anything if I'm wrong.
