I find normal to be an incorrect way to describe people, the human populous is so diverse among appearance, attitude, and behavior that it could be said that it is normal to not be conforming, or it is normal to be absolutely different because everyone else in a different community/society might be the same way. The overall appearances of certain personalities (disregarding those influenced by mental illness) would be equal to each other, therefore the usage of normal to describe any single group would be flawed as it could be just as easily extended to the others.
