Author Topic: Need Anti-Virus (Read 1432 times)

I need an anti-virus to install that WON'T block out Google Chrome or Firefox, which means I will ignore AVG suggestions.
So, any ideas that are protective that don't block out these two programs?

SpyBot, or, if you have Windows, Windows Advanced Care V2 Personal.

They came out with a V3 with a new name, don't remember what it was. But WAC doesn't scan you whole system, but SpyBot is a good one.

I use Spybot, but I need like a firewall.

Just says Virus Detected. So you can catch a virus right when you get one, you don't have to wait for a scan.

Also it's free (100% I think)

Chrono, I already removed all my viruses, Firefox still wouldn't work, so I uninstalled AVG like on a Google Forums topic, and Firefox and Chrome started working again.

Every computer I put AVG on allowed firefox to be installed.

Edit: And no possible viruses present on these computers because they were freshly formatted.

I run Firefox and AVG, yet I've never had a problem.

Anti Virus Pro! It's totally not a virus that even if you remove it in safe mode it doesn't reinstall itself!

My cousin got that virus by just listening to music on a site.

Why does your AVG block out Crome/FF? Why... WHY?????
