On the battlefield, you worry about many things. Your friends, your enemies, getting home, aiming, staying unharmed, and so forth. But the one thing you won't worry about in this mech is giving your competition a fair chance.

Weapons:
Two chain guns
Two Rocket Grenades
Two infantry elimaniting guns
Two Anti-Air turrets
Two large explosive-shot miniguns

My first mech build, it's supposed to be really sleek-futuristic like. It took about 7-8 hours over two days. The driver uses a super high tech helmet that lets him control the mech with thoughts, so no buttons are needed :D

So many guns.

I know right? I sort of went overboard on the guns, but I think it turned out well regardless. The mood it sets is sort of extremely hyperfast combat, since it's placed in the far future.

So you made one too?

Looks pretty good, but I don't like that thing I the back or how you made the roosterpit windsheild thing. The legs are 1000x better than mine, and everything else looks pretty good. Also, I made a minigun that I didn't end up putting on my mech, and I think it looks better than the 4 barrel guns you have:

Also, don't think I won't make another, better mech ;D

Oh wow, nice minigun there. My miniguns were rather rushed, I spent more time looking for a certain part (which I eventually ended up just switching out the hinge I have for the windsheild for it) than I did actually working on the gun. I was going to make a Particle Cannon or a large flamethrower, but I decided to keep my symmetry and go with my miniguns.

My pictures do the elongated head no justice. And while I have plenty of roosterpit windows, including a black version of the one you used for the Jackal, I decided to use the Imperial Fighter windshield because I love the bubble-style roosterpit idea, it gives it a more futuristic theme.

I'll definitely make more mechs, this was so much fun and kept me occupied for a long time. But first I need to order some pieces I ran out of, like those little hinge-ish pieces. You can clearly see what I'm talking about if you look at where the minigun arms are attached to the base. I also used one to attach his chair to the rest of the roosterpit. I also have two of them attaching the side panels to the main turret piece.

I use http://findmybrick.com I find they have all the pieces I need and good minifig parts.

Also check out http://brickarms.com for modern warfare weapons.

That looks neat, I need a lot pieces unless I'm going to disassemble the jackal.

Score! I got two extra hinge bricks from finding a spot where they were just sticking out uselessly, not bending, and I replaced them with non-hinges.

Also, I'm probably going to make another one of these soon now that I have two hinges, and I know a place I could steal one from.

Back thing for whay?
As a balance for the hugeass chainguns, I guess?

kneeguns?

What?

And the elongated head is for a more futuristic look. It looks better in real life.

Right now, I'm working on a little body armor thing for infantry. Also, I'm making a mech with two small guns and a large ParticleCannon on it, for eliminating large mechs.

It has a large Hypotenuse.

What?
kneeguns= guns on the knees...i thought it was obvious :o

But there are no guns on the knees.

Actually, those miniguns are just held below the torso and aren't attached to the legs at all. Some of the pictures make them look like they are on the "knee" part of the mech though.
