Author Topic: Heli Script Idea  (Read 2085 times)

OK, its kinda rubbish but oh well. My idea is to make the Helli spawn on it tail, so that it falls onto the right position, and if you get the script right then it will go up wen you press accelerate, because technically
the Helli is on its back.(i cant really explain any better than that sorry)

EDIT: I cant script or model, so i had to Get the idea out there, i would of made it if i knew better, maybe someone could give it a shot

The spacebar goes up on any helicopter I've used...
Also, suggestions & requests.

Ah, but IDK know how to move it....

Ya don't. Let The Moderators do their jobs...

i had this idea it would work, and you could get it to spawn on its feet with some coding, but its a lot of work... but it does make more sense because thats how real helicopters work.

You mean like the real control system and you point the nose down to go forward?

Thats how its suppose to fly.(in RL)

I get what he's saying.

If you don't understand, read this.

He means that make the vehicle controls morphed, so that the "nose" is pointing upward. This make it so that when you
go "forward," instead, you go up.

Seems like a good idea, just needs a large acceleration rate so the gravity doesn't make it unable to get off the ground.

NOW I get it, That is an awsome Idea

Yes indeed.

How do you go forwards then?

How do you go forwards then?
You tilt the nose downwards, you use 'WASD' to go up down and strafe left or right. The the direction of the nose does the rest

But then you're facing straight down without a clue as to where you're going.

Yes, i did actully try this once, but it dosn't work as well as you would think, the controld are to unresponsive, and 3rd person is out of wack.
