Can't crouch and move backwards?

This gets quite annoying. It's been happening quite a while, now, so help would be greatly appreciated.

Could be caused by your keyboard.  What keys do you have bound to move back and crouch?  Are you pressing any other keys at the same time?

S to move back, and Left Shift to crouch, not pressing any other keys. I also can't move left, I just found out.

What happens if you reset your controls to the defaults?

That solved, thanks. I must have had some weird key bind, that interfered with it.
