Author Topic: Underground Labyrinth  (Read 1044 times)

I've had this sitting around for about a month and just now decided to post it. This being my first decent build, I don't expect it to earn any praise. However, I'd like some criticism (and possibly some better building techniques) to use in future builds.

^Entering the build

^Inside one of the houses, complete with lever to control moon roof

^Hmmm... this house is sort of empty

^Or is it?

^Into the labyrinth

^A key! I wonder what it unlocks?

^Finally out of the labyrinth

^What? Is this really part of the build?

^Overview of the build

The main reason I'm posting this is to get advice to improve my building, so ratings x/10 and building criticism/advice would be appreciated.

Meh.
The building style could have been better.
The little dorms or whatever they were could have been better.

i know the point of building the houses is to just to get INSIDE the labyrinth in a lovey way, but you couldve done more detail on the houses. but still a good idea to put it in the couch.  :cookieMonster:

EDIT: the second last pic just popped up for me, when i saw it i was like WHA? but then i saw the captioning :3

Eh, better than my first decent build.

Cool, roomy, housey, housewarming, needs more labryinthy mazeyths

^

Labyrinth is more of a very large maze,
not a city.

4/10 It's kinda empty and needs more detail.

Learn how to build houses that are not boxes. Making ceilings that are 5 studs above your head makes for a very crowded feeling.

I only posted one picture of the labyrinth. Five pictures of brown walls would be repetitive. The whole labyrinth is actually very large. (Nearly the size of the surface build)

I know what you mean about the crowded feeling. After getting 3x height bricks, I've tried to make all my rooms at least 6x height. I'll take note of the box comment as well.

Thank you all for the feedback, I'll keep all of it in mind during my next build.
