Author Topic: A quick way to switch between windowed and fullscreen mode  (Read 1461 times)

I friend of mine, McTwist, just found out a rather interesting shortcut. A quick way to change between windowed and fullscreen mode.
Alt Gr + Enter
Did you ever notice this?

I figured it out by accident while playing in windowed mode and trying to build o:

Yes, it's always been there. It works on other stuff too.

I found it out by accident. Many multiple times. Whenever I'm trying to build, and have to change between super-shift and normal shift quite fast, I tend to accidently move my finger across and hit Enter which, results in my game lagging a lot, and suddenly sticking into Fullscreen mode. Which, annoys me, because I would have to purposely lag my computer, to access any other programs.

Interesting Never Knew About This Before

I've done this so many times I have lost count thus far, so its really not something I want hosts to do, since it laggy lags. :c

This is true for many games.

I've known this since I've joined, I play in fullscreen.

I figured this out a few months ago when i was building a house.

It's a global command for almost any program/game that supports both fullscreen and windowed.

Really? =O I've never noticed.

I play in a bigger resolution than my screen can handle, like a man.

That means that your screen supports more than you thought. If a screen doesn't support the resolution, it will turn black.

If so, is there other commands available? And can you give some example on games that supports it, due I haven't found anyone yet...

I play in fullscreen, but use the console.
"toggleFullScreen();"
Fullscreen + 64' LCD TV = Epic.
Sadly, the damned TV only supports 1024x768 without HDMI.
