So, this morning I was heading to school as I normally would be.  I got to the stop sign behind the library, and turned right.  Now, there are two lanes, (one that goes left onto the road that goes to school, and a second that goes straight and leads behind a building which is a sort of a small roundabout that gets back to the road leading to the school) and upon seeing the lane that goes left full of cars (which would make me wait in lane for a second time), I decide to go straight then turn left to get on the road to school.  So I'm driving down the empty lane and I get across the intersection (on a green light).  When I get to the other side, an 8th grader who was riding fast on his bike decided to cross the road 20 feet behind the crosswalk without looking.  He turns right into the side of my car and goes down.  I pull over and get out to check if everyone was fine.  The kid was fine, but he left 2 dents on my hood and took off the passenger side mirror.  Some other cars stop and check with us and call the cops.  I had to fill out a written account of what happened and the kid went to the hospital.  No charges were pressed against me and I got to school late.

A kid rode his bike into my car this morning and he put two dents in my hood and took out my passenger side mirror.  He was fine but went to the hospital, and I was late for school.
