Author Topic: The Add-On Rescue Team (A-ORT)  (Read 7362 times)

Can't find an add-on on this forum or Blockland Forums? Looked so hard you just can't find it? Call the Add-On Rescue Team! The Add-On Rescue Team's mission is to find add-ons that have not been posted on the forums. It's a small clan, so you can still stay in your other clans.

When we find add-ons, we give the link to anyone who's looking for it. A-ORT does not require you to wear clan tags, unless you want to. A-ORT is also not a battle clan, it is a clan that finds lost add-ons. We even, and don't make a fuss about this, rescue add-ons that still work but are ment to be failed. If an add-on is put on the maker's website, that is fine. But it still needs to be on this forum or RTB forums.

And, you can help A-ORT by finding and giving the link to download these add-ons not just for us, but for other people. Were trying to help other people that are having difficulties finding an add-on. Some people like to keep there add-ons private. Tough were afraid.

So stop hiding add-ons, and start making people happy! There may be someone looking for an add-on this very moment.  And you can still be in your other clan so you can join this one.

And you can also help A-ORT by doing the same thing. Help 1 person and you will be a good Blocklander.

This clan fails for the reasons:
  • You are GreenBlockHead
  • Bad clan Idea
  • Almost no layout

It's idiots like you that make me die a little inside. If somebody makes a mod, it's their own decision if they want to keep it private.

I will continue to hide my addons and make me happy, cry some more.

Add-ons are usually hidden or failed for a reason. No, it's not because of vanity or hatred.

Also, how are you planning to recover add-ons? Are you trying to remake them from bits and pieces you downloaded into your add-ons folder? Or nag the author into submission? How?

The acronym is nice though, you should do something completely different with it.

Exactly. I made a chatmod that allows you to change your name in chat as well as change clan tags and chat color.

I won't release it. Why? Because it can be abused and will probably end up as another function locked or whatnot. I've only even given it to like one or two people.

The Wagon will still be private. (If it is. It's like, red with jeep wheels.)

I get it now. So people hide add-ons because their afraid if it's going to get abused. I'll tell you what, you should put the add-on on your website if you have one, and give the download link to the website there. Then it can't be moved to the fail bin.

This clan dosen't say I'll give you this if you do that, but since I'm on my own and I'm the leader I'm going to. I'll try and find you the humvee if you change your avatar since you right clicked and saved it.
