He says n/6 > 10  is the same as n < 60

I say it's the same as n > 60

Think of it this way: if one sixth of n is more than ten, then... uhh...
Your teacher is a dumbass; you're correct (I think).

Reasoning: When you have n/6 > 10, you would even that out by multiplying. If it were division, you would end up with <, but no, multiplication wouldn't make something smaller unless the denominator was a decimal, which it isn't.

Tell the teacher to put THAT in his pipe and smoke it.

No, you must use additive inverse.
Since you are subtracting seven, you must add to make it zero.
Get it?

EDIT: Never mind. How did you wind up with 8?
EDITEDIT: Never mind, you changed it again. >:(
Yeah, I'm good at math, but I tend to make a ridiculous mistake for every probelm.

It happens. I just roll wit' the punches, if you will.

Thank you. Problems like that were on several tests and the first exams and I got a 71 on a test because of it, as well as a 91 on exams and not a like 96.

I'm an angry boy >:C

Oh, well that's just sad. Stupid teachers annoy me.

Yep. Fun though, isn't it.

63x - 9 = 16 + 63x

That is confusing if you don't know what to do.
Oh dear, I feel stupid now. A twelve year old has me stumped in math; I forgot what to do. :c
I keep getting:
-9 = 16
That is not true, though.
Would you mind refreshing my memory?

Why? You are completely correct.
It's 'no solution'. Hard, isn't it?

That was supposed to be a joke, you know the thing that's funny like ha ha.

loving stuff edit:its...a....JOKE GET A loving CLUE

Sorry, the Human Brain cannot identify sarcasm.

Oh, I thought you were suggesting that there was a logical answer, but now I see your point. Go on, give me another one.

Hello blockland people, my moms being a total but star fish poop face.
I'm trying to find new ways to stay out of school but she always says now that my dad got fired "/sarcasmYEAR  DAD WONT LET UUUUUU/sarcasm".So is there any good ways for me to convince her to let me stay home?
I tried a cold but she said that it took 3 days to get one not just one but i looked that up online and shes a total ass liar.I tried fakeing a sore thought the next day after she got hers she says"I GOT MINE FROMM CIGARETS<and yet she still loving smokes them>".So i need some new ways to stay home.

... hahahahhaha

Same style - not a real number, but it isn't no solution again.

6 + 7x = 7x + 6

That's easy, so here is another:

5/3 + 2/3x = 25/12 + 5/4x + 3/4

Enjoy.

x = -2?

ITT: Do math.

The only thing I really struggle with is logarithms and advanced exponent problems. Not so much logs anymore though, we're going over those right now.

1/√5-x - 1/√5+x = 2/√25-x^2
