Ok... When I opened Blockland, the bottom thing between "NAME" and "KEY" said "Verifying Key...".
When I re-entered the key it said "Welcome, cheezy1254"! Who the heck is cheezy1254...?

The last person to use your key I would assume. All I can think of is a brother/sister/relative using your computer and changing your name to play on your blockland OR someone else has access to your key.

I don't have any brothers/sisters that even know about the game. My computer also has a password.
Isn't there a way to change my key?

That name change happened from the first IP to use your key and it's from the same ISP that you use, so I'm assuming someone in your house played Blockland while you weren't looking.

According to RTB's ID roster, 'cheezy1254' is the name used by ID 16986, and 'danny135' is the name used by ID 16988.

cheezy re-entered his key on your computer.
Re-enter your key.
That is obviously why the name is taken.

I used the same key as I did the time I unlocked it. How could it be a different ID for the same key?

If that's true, then you bought at least 3 keys and you seem to be using them all at random.

try deactivating your key and entering it

It is not a bug.  He either bought 3 keys and mixed them up, or someone else bought the key for him and used it after he "gave" it to him.
