Road Stupidity : People who are extremely stupid on the road.

Today, Driving to the north end of town, down a divided highway, a firetruck drove by. People on the side of the firetruck pulled over, as you are supposed to. Again, the Highway has a divided down the middle. A Large cement platform thing about 8 feet in width. As the truck passed by, the people going the opposite way of the truck on the opposite side of the street also pulled over.

It was to funny.

I was walking home from school, then when i got to the cross walk. I looked both ways then i started walking across. Then a guy speeding almost hits me while i was walking across, not paying attention at all.

I hate when people floor it to get in front of you so they can slam on their brakes and get into a turn lane. The guy was right next to me the more obvious thing to do would be slow down and get behind me and then into the damn lane. Also getting on the freeway people tend to try and floor it passed you right when it merges into 1 lane, and the people that do that are really loving handicapped considering I usually am hitting 80 during that point and should be fast enough for them.

Bus drivers can never drive appropriately. They always go too damn fast. It like, Jesus Christ, you're driving a school bus, not a stock car.

A New Jersey Transit bus nearly wiped out a crossing guard while i was walking by.  The damn breaks on that bus must have been broken for something, because it did a long skid :o

I think you have to pull over for emergency vehicles regardless of a divider or not.  I know you have to stop for school buses on a divided highway as well.
