Alright so yesterday was the day that my sister gave birth.
My sister is 24 years old, and she also hired a midwife to help her deal with her pregnancy problems and questions. Apparently this midwife is a first class idiot who doesn't take pride in her work. My sister wanted to give birth naturally, and so the midwife was telling her it is possible because the baby was supposedly 7 lbs. The place that the midwife reccomended her was a nearby child birth facility. So she TRIED to give birth naturally because the midwife told her it was possible, but with no success. Note that my sister is only 5' 1", and the baby in the end was 8 lbs 7 0z.
The facility happened to be extremely dirty, and because of that she got an infection, and she and the baby got sick with a fever. Apparently also, for some reason my sister is stupid enough to keep paying attention to this first class idiot, and kept trying to give birth naturally. When she finally couldn't, she went to the hospital to get a c-section to give birth. The baby came out with indentations on his head from the attempt to give birth naturally because the midwife told her to keep pushing. And now both her AND the baby have a fever. During the c-section the midwife was sitting in the operating room reading a loving book.
Also before they went to the operating room, the doctor told the midwife to come to talk because the doctor needed to tell them something. You know what the midwife said? "Not now Im in the best part of the book!". How irresponsible! My mom was so pissed off that she brought her outside to talk with her, and the midwife talked back in a completely negative way towards my mom! My mom also asked he how big she thought the baby was and she said, "Oh, seven pounds." When my mom told her she knew he was over 8 lbs. the midwife dissed my mom and left to the operating room. When the doctors asked the midwife how much she thought the baby weighed she said, "Eight pounds." Also, she was probably 1 more wrong thing to say and she could've KILLED my sister. Not to mention my sister wouldn't listen to a word my parents said, and she keeps on rejecting them even now.
