I saw this thing a long time ago and I've recently been considering buying one.

It's basically a game controller. You can customize the keys on it to do whatever and it has a thumbpad and such. Does anyone have one of these, and if so, should I buy one? Is it worth the money?

Image works fine for me.

I'd prefer a keyboard and for the main reason of, imagine trying to use a joystick then trying to type every minute or 2, you'll be constantly taking your hand off of it to move over to the keyboard.

the hell? how do you hold that?

Sits on your desktop and you use it like WASD.

It goes on a table under your left hand. It feels really neat in your hand, though I don't see how superior it would be against the traditional mouse and keyboard combo

Actually it just sits on your desk.
It doesn't replace the mouse, either. You use it with the mouse.
