We don't have Halloween here, we have something similar on November 5th, but you don't dress up.

I cant wear a spy mask, and being a guy with a blue suit and cigarette won't mean anything without the mask, so ill just dig up some old costume. i think i wore some sort of black robe with purple shineys across the chest last year

save the mask, gloves were too small for me and the purple belt thing kept slipping, so it was a black robe with purple shiney and necklace

And if it is that, how is it even remotely close to Halloween?

I won't be doing anything for Halloween. It's a bit of a shame that it's not so 'amped up' in England. I'd find it kinda interesting to go full out for Halloween. But, at the same time, I can't see the point in spending money on a costume for one night.
