Attention all blockland players:This is Eddie Cramer speaking to you today...
~Do you have the demo version?
~do you want to buy the full version, but your parents won't

give their credit card numbers out???

I am in this exact situation... I would pay a lot more than $20 dollars to get the full blockland version. But sadly my parents do not want to give out their credit card # or home address. Are you experiencing this problem as well?
   I have come up with an idea to save everyone with this same problem, and make blockland a lot of money. You've probably heard of world of warcraft, or club penguin, maybe even other websiteswith this feature... Those two sites sell "gift" cards at stores like wal-mart, or 7-11, that include membership codes viewable only after they have been bought. I'm sure that by now you've found out what I'm about to tell you!
   What if blockland came out with these same types of "gift" cards with the Blockland authentication key included on them? Blockland could price them for 5, maybe even $10 more than the $20 fee for on-line purchase. I could ensure you that several people would buy it (including me) and it would make more people discover the site as many people shop at wal-mart. With these new "gift" cards, anyone could buy the game, without having to be worried about credit card #'s being stolen.
   So what I would like to ask of you today, is for you to post if you are also facing this dilemma, and if you would also love to have blockland come out with these "gift" cards.
   I think that if we can get enough people to ask for this, than blockland creators might consider making these by 2010. Also: if you think this is a bad idea, please post why you think that and this could also help with our protest!

Why this is a bad idea:

1. Your credit card number will not get stolen by purchasing Blockland. Why would there be 17,000 people who owned the game, many of them using a credit card if it was a scam?
2. If you don't have a credit card, you can use this old thing called "mail". You put the money in an envelope and stick it in that box that gives you letters addressed to Badspot.

I would think that placing a $20 bill in a security envelope and mailing it would be even easier then going to the store and buying a gift card, judging by the prevalence of mail-order catalogs.
