Works for me.
Its still terrible. Just because it works doesnt mean its good.

Is steam in your processes list in your task manager?

Its not, its not on the list, actually only firefox is on the list.

I got spybot, used it. Dad wakes up and helps me later.

I need some help with steam, Im not that afraid since I but my games on a CD and the rest were just mods but still.

Plus I cant uninstall steam games now, steam does not come up. I went into start menu and then control panel, uninstall programs, click uninstall Hexen2 demo and stuff doesn't happen :C

Seems like you have a Red Spy in your computer

Avast catches lots of viruses and works well for me. What's wrong with it?

Edit: AVG isn't even free.

No, not that - the processes list. Firefox cannot be the only thing on the process list because then your system wouldn't be running properly since System and other stuff like svchost.exe and explorer.exe wouldn't be running.

My reply is in the picture.

There it is. Select it, hit End Process (say Yes when prompted), and then restart Steam. Should work now.
