Alright, I am in marching band and we have a tournament tomorrow morning, it's going to be a three hour drive. We start our performance at around eight AM but we will get the at about six AM, (for practice and stuff) so, if it's a three hour drive, and we get there at six AM, guess what time I have to wake up.
2:00 AM
Yeah. This sucks.
To make matters worse, here's our schedule:
3:00 AM Meet in band room, blah blah blah.
3:15 AM Load buses and leave.
6:00 AM Arrive at tournament site.
7:05 AM Warm-up.
8:05 AM At field gate.
8:15 AM Performance.
8:30 AM Change out of uniforms.
9:00 AM Seated in stands.
11:00 AM Leave for lunch.
3:00 PM Return to stadium - Watch bands.
5:00 PM Prelims awards.
5:30 PM Prepare for finals (If we made it to them.) Or go back to the school.
7:45 PM First finals performance.
10:30 PM Finals Awards.
11:30 PM Load buses and depart.
2:00 AM Arrive back at school and unload.
24 hours. Good god.
So I have come to one conclusion: Marching band does not like Halloween.
