Author Topic: Awesome Movie Contraptions and such  (Read 1522 times)

So, I just finished watching Wild Wild West. A good portion into the movie, the villain shows up with this massive mechanical spider, and it was the coolest looking movie contraption I'd ever seen. To anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking about, watch these short clips:

Have you ever watched a movie and seen some sort of invention (science fictional or other) that really blew your mind? Some sort of weapon, vehicle, or other device that was just the coolest damn thing ever? I guess you could include games if you can't think of anything from a movie. Please post a picture and the movie (or game) it's from so people know what you're talking about, if you can find one. Otherwise, describe it.

Discuss.

All the Saw movie's have some pretty creative contraptions for killing / tourturing people. I know it's a bad thought but they are pretty creative.

You better be joking about that....

I'd want a holodeck. Can get anything and everything in one of those. Never have to leave it ever again.

I've always loved Wild Wild West for some stupid reason, one reason I know is watching Salma Hayek walking away in long johns

Hell yeah.

Maybe a phaser stuck on stun for annoying people. :D

I want a phaser that I can set to 'rape'.

I'd say something about Maor but it's old now.

Keyblade from Kingdom Hearts. Really, who came up with the idea that a simple key could become a fierce weapon?

EDIT: The delorean from Back to the Future.
