Play it live, lol.
Incidentally I managed to break the key off of my MIDI keyboard, sooooo, I can't. :\
But I could, theoretically, with my normal keyboard.. But it doesn't have any pitch wheels and whatnot that I require, so forget. :\

Bump--currently working on a new song, definately hiphop, just, I have to add a lot more in before I can call it a piece.

Edit: Well, I managed to mix my genres again, comparable to a mad scientist. :\

Circuitboard was surprisingly good. My only suggestion for that song would be to add some bass drums.

By bass drums do you mean kicks? (because it has that)
There is a pretty obvious kick in there. It distorts a lot of the rest of the song because I screwed with the limiter and volume levels :3
Thanks by the way.

New song, bump, (The) Roads of Winter, a hip-hop song with a lot of a jazzy feel, because of the sax I used. :P

This is actually really good music. I like they way you mixed and layered it, so you get a nice texture for the background parts. I think you need buildup and realize more in your trance/dance tunes, I think thats really a defining concept of the genre. I also think adding cord changes in areas that have the melody repeat many times would make it a lot more musical.

Hehe I know exactly what you mean. With my trance/etc songs, those are expiramental. I don't know two stuffs about that genre other than that it's entirely synthesized, and has a more simple beat than most other genres. I don't believe in the whole "repetition makes stuff less enjoyable" idea. It's a pretty common topic in a lot of songs I listen to and make, but I think as long as the song is composed properly it shouldn't matter if it repeats a few times (if you can enjoy it enough for it to repeat, then I'm doing something right. =P)
Thanks Tom :D
Edit: I do have one question for you, though.. If you look at my first song.. And then my most recent.. How much would you say I have improved?

One of the big ideas of trance is repetition.

So then I'm doing it right?
I do see what you mean though about the buildup. I just re-opened the project files earlier and I realized that I have a very crappy buildup going on there. I also fixed the volume levels for Roads of Winter.

It's a TF2-ish song, but it has drums, so ffff. I barely play TF2 due to my crap graphics card so don't blame me for not knowing really how the style is, I usually hear the first 10 seconds then get extreme audio lag. :P

Bump again, new song, In Under 5 Minutes. See description and/or main post.
