Author Topic: City RP - Ideas to make it better?  (Read 3923 times)

This is not a topic for flaming City Rp, this is a topic for people to post your ideas on how to make it better, and more realistic.

For instance, the Police should have handcuffs, tasers, and when they kill a person with dems, they get no dems.

I know the dems is possible, someone did it but I forgot who.
The handcuffs are also possible, when Yuki had his City RP, he had handcuffs.
Tasers, everyone should know about.

Why the double post?

Well, it would be for the better, but I'm not a fan of RP's. I'm more into old-fashioned building and what-not.

Use RP Content. Problem solved.

Just as long as you don't use tumble (I suggest just making them immobile and play the crouch animation, very realistic) for the tasers, I'd get that taser. We need a taser without tumble. Tumble, like all vehicles, is glitchy as forget.

The tumble is very annoying when abusive players get their hands on it.

The handcuffs should probably be very similar to downed in the zombie mods, except the player cant do anything.  Then there can be court systems; with a hearing, jury members, and everything if the taser and handcuffs are fixed.

Lets take a little bit easy here and think about it. Do you even know how long time it takes? They even discussed it some time ago, but there was no way to implement it without people have to be online all the time!

Well...yeah thats true.  Its a hard thing to do, but it would be immensely fun.
For the court hearing we need 1 Judge, 1 Prosecutor, 1 Defendant, 2+ Jury members...Court hearings would have to be mandatory.  The arresting officer could be the Prosecutor, the accused criminal would be the defendant (obviously), Judge would be a job, and the Jury can be payed a small amount.

That does sound interesting, but it sounds like it would take so long, that it would hardly leave enough time for doing much else. Especially if people are getting arrested quite regularly.

What I think you want, is a court Rp. Which, would be fun too, if you're into that sort of stuff.

Give me the details and I could maybe do RP Court... :D

Well that was only one suggestion, you guys can add in ideas if you want.
But a court RP does sound cool.

It would be better if we did not have 1000 servers running them at the same time

Tom

Court wouldn't work at all. First of all, your dealing with kids who have no idea how court works, and that won't shut up. And by the time the court is done, the crim could have had his sentence served.
