In Diablo a necromancer, is a "summon mage" Where do they get that idea if Necromancer redirects you to that on Wikipedia? That states that a necromancer is someone who talks to the dead, not summons them.

Yes, a spirit, to talk to, you have to read the wiki, my friend said she is reading a book on necromancy, I said "I will only be amazed when you can summons skeletons" She said im handicapped and ignorant and that necromancy is "Necromancy is a form of talking to the dead and forseeing future events and such" I get my definition from D2.

Well undead exist in Diablo as physical forms, so I suppose since the necromancer can talk to them he can also make them do his bidding. If not, why do you care so much that a game isn't following a definition to the tee?

Monks ARE fighters, just for self-defense, and I suppose killing evil demons is self-defense. If you went up and punched a monk he would kill you.
