Author Topic: Blockland's First Impression on my Friend  (Read 4733 times)

My friend came over recently and being the gamer junkie I am, asked him what online games he played. As usual he played WoW and other MMO's. I said, "Ever heard of Blockland?" I showed him the demo, and he was immediately  impressed. After that, he went right home and bought the game. Pretty awesome first impression.

I've seen a few impressions:

Friend 1: Awesome, bought

Friend 2: Good but not something to spend money on, did not buy

Cousin: Holy stuff this is amazing, bought

Brother: Sure, I'll play. Can you lend me 20 bucks?

He goes off and spends it on loving nexon cards.

So I stole 20 dollars from him and bought borderlands.

Lol, I've been screwed like that before.

My friend thought the controls were 'too hard'.

As you can probably tell he's not that much of a gamer.

Lol, I've been screwed like that before.

And now he wants to get borderlands.

And you know what, I probably will lend him some cash.

Most people i show it to immediately think it is gay/stuffty because they are uncreative and do not imagine the stuff they can make with this, or whatever

My friend just liked the guns and vehicles.  :cookieMonster:

I've always wanted to play Blockland but never figured out my computer wouldn't want it. I finally downloaded a new driver and ran it, I was so happy.

umm showed the demo to my little brother.

So he took a pie and threw it in his own face?

I don't tell many people I play blockland. I tell people who don't like Blockland, as I don't like mixing online and real life much. It's awkward, like when your masturbating with your mom standing next to you or having lunch with a Priest. :/

I showed my friend It and we screwed around in the demo for a little bit. then he asked his mom if he could buy It.

I tried to show my brother but he didn't care.

I tried to show my friend but he didn't care (even though he constantly uses LDD or w/e its called).

Not many gamers in Maryland :(
