I started getting into making avatars, simple ones, but avatars nonetheless. I was wondering what I should make, I use gimp. If you tell me how, I might use Paint.net (Not really sure how/Don't really like it's effects). Here are two examples, one an animation, another an effect. Heh, I kind of used somebody else's avatar for the animated one. I posted the file on his thread about avatars, though. Another example, see my avatar.
