Author Topic: Super Fast Movement Problem  (Read 783 times)

This is quite simple.  All movements within the environment are increased to a ridiculous scale.  When at the "Bedroom" base place, it takes less than one second for my character to travel from one side of the room to another (the long way).  Jumping takes 2-4 frames to complete.  When the jetpack is activated, I die instantly because of how fast I hit the ceiling and fall.

When I reset the timescale to .2 (still at the bedroom), my character then took a little more than 2 seconds to traverse the length of the room.  Jumping was the same, as was the jetpack.

In the Avatar Editing screen, my character is moving so fast that there are two hands at all times - one in front, one in back, no middle.  Strangely enough though, when I go to the Color Set area of the Avatar Editing, I can see that my character's speed has returned to normal.  Also, if I create another window outside of the Blockland program (and the BL program is still visible), the character is indeed at the correct speed.

The problem is that my character (and all dynamic parts) are ridiculously fast.  How might I correct this?

What exactly would that do for him? He's my friend and I would prefer to have him play Blockland.

What exactly would that do for him?

There is an issue with AMD dual core processors that causes Blockland to run too fast.

AMD has released a patch to fix this issue.

That is, if he has an AMD dual core processor.

He's my friend and I would prefer to have him play Blockland.
What does that have to do with anything I've posted in this thread?

I would prefer to have him play Blockland.

I'm curious as to what you meant by this.

He currently plays Roblox which I find annoying. I met him through it and he has some great work on it, I'd like to see what detail he could make with Blockland.

But I don't see what that has to do with the link Cody posted.

Okay, in other words, I want Blockland to work for him. I was asking what that would do in hopes that it would help fix his problem in order for him to play.

Make sense?

Yes, in a sense. I guess it was just unnecessarily placed information that simply put me off because I was trying to connect it to both of your posts and it just got confusing.

Ah, well, sorry for that. I worded it stupidly.

So, did that AMD DualCore optimizer work?
