New show is on tonight on ABC at 8 p.m. Eastern (in the US, see below for other air dates) called V.

So, V is apparently a redo of an old TV miniseries from the 1980's, and it's about a race of extra-terrestrials named "The Visitors" by us who come to Earth. They're led by "Anna", who promises nothing but peace and aid. People are suspicious about whether they're really peaceful or not, but it's hard to persuade the mass of people who have come to trust these Visitors when they've helped solve the world's crises.

YouTube's got a massive banner at the top for it, along with a sneak peek.

Lovely, we'll be just in time to discuss it with you. :/ It'll probably be forgotten once it's aired for us.
Oh well, it looks interesting. I'll just have to wait then. Try not to look back at this topic, to keep away from spoilers, lol. :P

Curse you Ireland! Stupid them no longer being part of the UK. D: (No offence to anyone who's from the Republic of Ireland)

I don't even have cable/satellite.

Also I thought this thread was going to be about /V/.

I'm anxious for this show. Mainly because it has the companion from Firefly. She's a baaaaaaaaaaaaaabe *drools* I miss Kaylee more though :(

Every loving time they're going to put a *NEW* Show on I see trailers for 10-20 weeks before it ever comes to our bloody screens.

Because attention spans don't last longer than 15 minutes, donchaknow? /corporate stereotypes for their viewers

Speaking of this show after my ape stuff attack, I don't think its going to be very good. Going to be one of those drama ACTION TV SERIES that always ALWAYS suck. Much like Flashforward, the only reason you watch it is to find out what happens in the end, MUCH LIKE LOST THAT TURNED OUT TO BE A FLASH MONKEY DANCING MACHINE.

lost makes as much sense as dhyhgbvbhhgfdsdfghjkl.

haha my mom just told me about this

they have this horrible add on deviant art that lags me.

Lol, I can see that happening.

Lost is pretty good if you can actually manage to follow it, and so is FlashForward, but even that's hard to do because they're confusing and they jump around a lot.
