Author Topic: iPod Touch left in cold at two months ago mac event.  (Read 1507 times)

Is anyone else seriously pissed about the fact that the Nano got a video camera before the freaking iPod Touch? I think it would be cool to get this going- I think Apple is going to announce an iPod Touch w/ a camera at their event in January (Which has actually been bumped to February). If you think about it, it's almost 100% logical. Apple released the new Nano with enough time before Christmas to justify buying it then, but close enough to hold out if you really wanted to. Parents buy their kids new Nanos for Christmas because 'MOOOOOOM- IT HAS A CAMERAAAAA!!!!!!!' and then, badabing, badaboom. New iPod Touch. With  the same camera. Serious money for Apple.

Not cool, but profitable. Thoughts?

Mad at them. I want to get an Ipod Touch for Christmas, but I wanted the camera. I doubt I'm going to wait that long because I don't really need a camera, but it would still be nice. But, as you said, profitable. It'll be good to invest in them because of this strategy.

Wasn't the thing 2 months ago?

I have the newest touch. Camera would be nice but I don't miss it at all. It's sad to use a phone/ipod/whatever camera after I've been using SLRs D:

I wasn't trying to be a richard.

The only reason I really want to get an iPod with a camera is because I don't have a cellphone. When I get my cell phone in three weeks, then it becomes and issue of mic support and a faster processor. Also internal speaker.

On what? The phone? Because the new touches have a mic in the headphones and an internal speaker, and the processor's fast enough for anything it does.

Oh, right. I neglected to mention I still own a first gen. I didn't find the second gen worth upgrading to until I found out it had a faster processor. The first gen is the slowest hardware that runs the iPhone OS so naturally some apps can be a bit sluggish.

I would sell my first gen for a second if I wasn't scared of the fourth gen being announced right when I buy it. That's why I own a first, not a second gen. The second gen seriously got announced 3-4 weeks after I bought my first gen.

I though this was about a iPod Touch left outside for 2 months and lived.

Well either wait for a camera or buy now. Otherwise that'll happen.

Same.

All this over a Camera? How often do you use a camera, far as I can tell its pretty damn rare unless you're one of THOSE idiots who record/take pictures of everything.

I am pissed because I got my 16GB in August, $300 loving dollars, then maybe 2 weeks later they lowered the damn price to $250... This could have gone in that rage thread in Off-Topic...

I got my 32gb for $300 maybe a month ago. The 16gb are $200 now.
