Author Topic: iPod Touch left in cold at two months ago mac event.  (Read 1500 times)

I am pissed because I got my 16GB in August, $300 loving dollars, then maybe 2 weeks later they lowered the damn price to $250... This could have gone in that rage thread in Off-Topic...
How about I bought an 8GB of an inferior model for $300 only to watch the same capacity in better hardware be dropped $70.

You can take in the receipt to the store and they'll usually give you a price cut.

Also, I'm thinking about getting the 64gb Ipod Touch. I know it has built in speakers, but does it have a faster processer than the 2nd gen touchs and does it have a built in mic?

Since when.

I know this is from a while ago, but I bought a gamecube for $150. A week later, it dropped $50. My mom took the receipt in and got $50 dollars back. I don't have any recent stories, but I'm pretty sure it's still possible. Some stores are really nice. As an example, my sister dropped her brand new DS lite in the toilet the day after she got it. My mom went to the store, talked to the manager, and got a replacement one in exchange for the broken one.

It has as fast a processor as you need, I've never ran into problems. I'm not sure why the hell you'd need a built in mic, it's not a phone, but the earbuds it comes with do have a mic. It's right by your mouth, works fine. Also has volume control and pause/play right by the mic so you don't have to take ipod out of your pocket. Also, why don't you just look for yourself

I've never noticed that but it doesn't make any sense. It would seem logical but apparently Apple begs to differ.

the camera was not put in the Touch because of
A: production problems, they had issues with some chips
B: as Steve Jobs has said in interviews, they want the touch to be more of a "gaming" portable, or something.

either or both could be true, but in general, the newest release of any technology has more features than the last. its not worth bitching about everytime.

I have a 2nd gen 32gb. The 2nd gen (or 3rd, only difference is slight processor speed (i think... its something insignificant)) is far superior to the 1st gen. it is a sleeker design, has a bigger, brighter screen, and volume buttons (extremely useful). If a camera is all they add at the event in Feb (which i have not read up on at all yet), id say wait until january and pick up a 3rd gen from the Apple store when they start having amazing sales to clear out for the new models.

well how else could they get you cows to buy both?
i think its obvious why they did it

i was gonna find the dramatica link to "cows" but that definition seems to not be there.
anyways i think it started with Nintendo fanboys. and all the many handicapped accessories they always buy for them consoles. they are being "milked" for money and are stupid enough to spend it.
