I’m sorry for bumping this topic, but I recently had a scary dream that I just remembered and I want to share it with you all.

The Fireflies

I was lying in my bed reading a book when a bright light shone in through my window. I get up to look out and the light source seemed to be swirling. I opened my window and it poured in.

They were fireflies, all glowing constantly. Their mystic dance put me into a trance. As I was hypnotized by their exotic beauty, I didn’t realize that they were flying underneath me.

My trance broke as I was flying out of my window into the cold night air. The fireflies were giggling, laughing, and cheering as they flew. They took me higher and higher; I could seem the whole city and still the fireflies took me higher. We continued to ascend until I realized I couldn’t breathe and I could their laughter. I had gotten so weak before I grasped the fact that I’m in danger. Their laughter was at not with me.

I was growing weaker and weaker, my heart was pounding as though struggled to escape from its impending doom. And still we rose ever higher. Every time I tried to move, the fireflies would counter act it and move firmly underneath me. Finally, though, I managed to roll off their cloud of death and fall back down to the earth.

I couldn’t fall fast enough, though. Everything was going dark while lights were popping up in my vision. I continued to build up momentum until I finally took my first breath of fresh, delicious air. It took me but a moment to become conscious of my danger at this point. I was falling at about one hundred miles per hour without a parachute towards nothing but land and some water.

I decided that my best bet was to angle myself towards the water. I did so only to remember that it was frozen over and that I will most likely die if I do so.

The land was growing ever closer, and I knew I didn’t have much time left. So, I might as well go out with style and I prepared to do exactly that. First, took out my phone and I accidentally, but luckily, left in my pocket and sent a quick “goodbye” to all of my friends and family members that I had stored in my phone. Second, I took off my clothes for I knew I was going to be nothing but a bloody mess in the end, so I might as well make sure it is all me. Lastly, I angled myself where my head was the pointing straight down and my arms were above me head. This angle, however, seemed to make my start spinning rather rapidly and the motion kept my hands stuck together. I looked up and I could seem the lake really up close, I didn’t have more than three seconds left.

I had much more time than that. It would seem that the lake was frozen enough to take a obese human standing on it, but not enough to take a two hundred pound spinning human being falling at about one hundred miles per hour. I plunged beneath the surface into the dark unknown. I just kept going, there seemed to be no end until I stopped suddenly.

I looked around and there were lights all around me. I felt sudden fear as I thought they were the fireflies again, but they were not. These lights were blue, the fireflies were orange. As I began to be hypnotized by the beautiful lights swirling around me, I felt to most horrifying sensation around my torso. It felt like lips… Cold, slimy, scaly lips with sharp teeth right behind them.

Before I could react, the teeth clamped down through my tender, cold flesh and whatever monstrous being behind the teeth dragged me off through the dank abyss. The pain was excruciating and I wanted to wake up, but I couldn’t. As I traveled along with the beast, I felt it liking me with its sickening tongue.

I tried to scream, but I couldn’t, my lungs were replaces with gills. I then tried opening the brute’s mouth myself, but I was too weak from my fall. We traveled for hours, the pain leaving me blind in the end. All was dark and there was not a sound to be heard. But then, suddenly, there was a blinding light as I rose into a strange cave. The monster dropped me onto the floor causing so much pain I thought I would die from that alone. But still I remained alive through unknown forces.

But I couldn’t dwell on that for long for I heard scales crawling along the floor. It was coming from all directions and I knew that was a good thing. I tried to move again, but to no avail. I could feel the monsters’ fangs sinking into my flesh and ripping me to pieces. It wouldn’t end, I wanted it to end. I finally got my wish; the light was growing darker and darker as the creatures feasted upon me.

It was right before I totally lost sight when I woke up into a pool of my own sweat. I hope I never have that dream again…

This one happened a while ago:

I was dreaming of some fat man was sky diving and he was carrying a sandwich with him. So he jumps out of the plane and it goes slow for one second, puts the sandwich into his mouth, then goes back to regular speed and he's just shoving the sandwich into his mouth while he's falling and kick ass heavy metal music plays in the background.

Weird.

The only bad dreams I can never seem to alter in any way are the ones where I either catch an ex cheating on me or leaving me. Otherwise, my mind can easily turn a bad dream into something silly.

i am always dreaming of chicks cheating on me.
even when i don't have a girlfriend lol

I've been practicing lucid dreaming; I can remember everything, but I can't change it without waking up due to an over active brain. And I quite obviously added a few details to the "story," but I did so you would get the same feeling as I did when I was dreaming it.

I had a dream where a boomer stared at me. That was it. 5 hours of that. However, it only felt like 5 minutes.
