This is a dream I had, but it makes a good story, in my opinion that is.

This one is quite recent.

My Scariest Dream:

I woke up in my room next the guy I have been crushing on for the past few weeks. There didn’t seem to be anything wrong with him, but I couldn’t remember how, why, and when that guy got there. I was going to wake him up, but I decided to let him sleep. I get up out of bed and proceed to the closet to put on some clothes. When I got there, I realized something was wrong; my cousin’s clothes (My cousin has been staying with us for the past few weeks) were no longer there. I didn’t think much of it, and I continued to put on some clothes. As I was about to exit the room, I heard the guy on my bed stirring. I turned to look at him, only to find him in a position that looked as if he was ready to pounce. This looked rather strange and I asked, “W… What are you doing?”

He seemed to get very mad at that and he charged me. I dodged him and ran to one side of the room. He decided to charge me again. This time I ran to my bed and grabbed the knife I always have on the side of it. After I grabbed it, I heard retching. I turn around to see him throwing up blood and some green looking stuff. I said, “Oh my god, you’re horribly sick!” He seems to realize that I’m still there and he comes at me again. This time, I step aside and trip him, causing him to fall into my nightstand. When he did that, I ran out of the room only to find to most horrific scene that my brain can process.

The world has gone to hell. There are few buildings still standing and it seems like a miracle that my room was still up and orderly. The land is dead, not a tree had a leaf on it and all of the grass was burnt. Where the buildings used to be, there was nothing but ash and rocks. The worst part, however, was that everyone had pikes run through them where it wasn’t vital and they were all still alive. Some were screaming in agony, some moaning in distress, and others were completely silent as if in utter shock. The stench was horrendous and the bodies were dripping blood that didn’t seem to stop.

I wanted to help them, I really did, but I couldn’t do so for multiple reasons. For one, it would seem that if I touched one of the pikes it would cause the poor person stuck up there to shriek in anguish. And when I got over the fact that it caused them pain, it would seem that the pikes sustained the tortured souls and if someone removed them, that being would die. I probably could have stuck around and figured out how to take them off without killing them, but I didn’t have time. The guy in my room opened the door and saw me.

I took off and he followed at full pace. We ran for what seemed like hours, but were most likely just minutes. I passed hundred of screaming people, all of them on those strange pikes. The more I ran the more people that seemed I seemed to pass at once. In fact, after what seemed to be a few more hours, I came upon an impassable “forest” of people. They were all shrieking and moaning as crying out for it to end. I felt my pounding heart being wrenched from my body as I gazed upon them with the utmost pity. When I looked up, I saw the most dreadful sight. For right in the middle of the “forest” of tortured beings, there was a building unlike anything I have seen before. I couldn’t stare for long, however, for the guy from my room was right behind me.

I decided enough was enough and turned around to face the monster that was once my lover. His body has changed so much since I looked at it fully back in my old bedroom. All of the meat, fat, juices, etc. have fallen out through the gashed that somehow appeared on his flesh. He was now, quite literally, skin and bones, and the skin part appeared to be falling off. As it neared me, I ran back at it and tackled the thing. I shoved the knife I had with me deep into its skull and stood up thinking, “That was easy.” I turned to look at the building the best I could from where I was.

The building appeared to be about fifty stories and it was composed of what looked like to be the bones of the already departed. This building appeared to be waving as if there was an intense heat or energy coursing about it. Rivers of blood were pouring into the place, and none seemed to be coming out. There was the odd spike here and there coming up out of the bones and those looked very painful. As I was looking, I felt something grab my foot. It was my ex-lover with the knife jutting out of its head.

I screamed and tried to smash the skull in. I succeeded, but at the price of having brain matter splattered everywhere. I grabbed the knife and ran around the “forest” to see if I could find my way into the building. I ran for what seemed like days, but were only hours and made a complete circle around the “forest.” There was no entrance and I knew what I had to do to get to the building. I didn’t want to, but it was the only way…

I ran forward and grabbed the nearest pike. As soon as I touched it, the poor soul started shrieking in agony. I yanked the pike out of his flesh and the guy immediately died. I then tried bending the pike and found out that it was really fragile. It snapped in my hands like a toothpick. I tried running through the pikes and found that they were all like that. The only bad part was the bodies falling on top of me. I had to run really fast in order to keep the people from dying in total agony.

When I got to the building, I walked up to the entrance, careful not to alert any guards or security devices. I soon found out there were none and so I proceeded to run to the center of the building. What I saw was terrifying. In the very center of the building, there was a giant, gaping hole in the ground and that is where the rivers of blood were flowing into. When I peered into the hole, I saw that it went on for as far as I could see. And then I saw the staircase at the back of the room.

I went up the stairwell and came out of the very top of the building. Here, there was some being garbed in a black robe that was stained with blood. I started to walk towards this thing and he heard the bones crunch under me. He turned towards me, but his face was hidden in darkness beneath his hood. I heard him chuckle and say, “Welcome to the new earth.”

I asked him why he was doing this, but he answered, “I will not tell you.” I then asked him why not and instead of answering, he ran forward faster than I could see and grabbed me by the Beep throat. He walked over to the edge of the building and said (while holding me), “Because I’m Beep not your average villain.” And he threw me off the building.

I was falling, falling, falling… All I Beep could think was, “What now?” The ground was rushing up towards me. Beep “I see it growing. BeepMy inevitable doom growing ever closer. If only I could remBeepmber what went wrong. Could I have done anything to prevent this? Where Beep did I go wrong? Here it is, goodbye world.” Beep

Me: Alright, I'm up!

Feeling rather stupid for going through all this trouble just to pull this stunt and the constant flaming of people who just didn't give a rat's ass caused him to lock his thread and slink into obscurity for a week. The End.
