Author Topic: RTB add-ons  (Read 7149 times)

Why does someone have permission to post an add-on to RTB without permission from the creator?
This question is still not answered.

Tom

So add-ons that the creator is too lazy to post can still be posted. For example, CashmodII.

Yeah, I'm too lazy to get through an impossible-to-get-through ban.

i guess its just personal preference how someone in ephi's place would want it.
there is no legal ownership of any blockland addon by any user lol.

lol i guess technically you could.

(makes the same tired build stealing argument)
any blockland content, builds, maps, addons, whatever;
are all owned by badspot. no matter who made them. in some cases when a unofficial mod earns money, the game producers can just up and claim it all and put their name on it and start taking in that money legally.

Oh god, not that.

It's already posted here, so there's no point.
I doubt you would give Ephi credit like that one guy gave you credit though.

Either way people can do this, regardless of if it's on the Retail Forums or RTB or some other site.  On RTB, however, if they did not do something properly to make sure the add-on works, etc, then it can be detected and failed without anyone downloading it.  If it does make it through, they usually give the original maker credit since RTB allows you to upload without being the person credited as the creator.

Why were the two copies of the mininuke uploaded to RtB failed?

If Bushido wants it released, he can upload it,
I love how everyone lays down their rules but then goes and breaks them all up.

"You cannot release this, it isn't yours"
"Oh sure, release this and keep the credit even though you didn't make it"

Ooooh.. it just so happened to be removed by Space Guy.

Probably not because someone submitted it without permission.

Space Guy himself submitted an add-on that's not his.
