How do I use an .exe file with Logon Studio?

I tried to download a logon for LogonStudio, but it was an .exe. I tried to run it but nothing opened, I tried to make it into a .logon, or .logonxp, I have googled "how to convert .exe to .logonxp" but I found nothing. Is there a way to make an .exe file into a file that will work with logonstudio?
