So im playing CoD4 and this is what happend

djp0: why do u dont download call of duty 4 by torrent
djp0: by torrent is free
djp0: and u buy the game
Call from djp0 started.
Call with djp0 ended.

bought the game.

Imo: if the company whose stuff you're pirating makes a load of cash to begin with, it isn't that bad. Smaller scale companies, however, is jipping that company from profits, in relativity to the larger company.

Then imagine a stuffload of people doing that; quite a big amount being sliced from the company's profits.

In all reality those companies like Valve make so much in endorsements and other types of merch they could stop making games and still do well.
Maybe Valve was a bad example, but you get the point.

Edit: Blizzard is a decent example.
