Author Topic: RP_jobs problem  (Read 1557 times)

When a player spawns as a jail guard they dont have the batons. CTRL + K to respawn doesnt give them the item either.(not sure if this applies to all "baton" weilding classes or not).

I just tried with a burlar, and that class does spawn with a lockpick. so i dont know, I'm going to try a different police class.   But it does say that jail guard does spawn with a jail baton.

also for some reason at the bottom "pay #" isnt showing up.

It is every baton class.  neither "baton" or "jailbaton" equip when you become a class that uses them. I even made a custum job that uses them, and it still doesnt give it when you become that job.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I don't know, when I try, It doesn't even let me get a job. It says: Invalid command.

you created an employment block, clicked it said "3" to get job, and selected a job and it didnt work?

ok. the regular baton works with the jobs... but the jail baton still isnt auto equiped when i become the right class. 

What is the difference between the "baton" and "jail baton"?  If I dont need the jail baton, I just wont use it.

Jail Baton is used in Cops & Robbers, if it's a blue hammer.

actually, the "jail baton" I'm referring to comes from mctwist's RP_crime.   

Baton is yellow
Jail Baton is brownish green (nasty lol)

if you choose job "jail guard" you get a "jail baton" no other job uses this, all 3 other police jobs use "baton" regular.  I'm positive that "baton" can arrest also, so I'm thinking about completely removing the "jail guard" job. that way I just wont use "jail baton".   the yellow baton works fine.

unless someone knows of a way to get "jail baton" to auto equip to the "jail guard" when you choose that job and respawn. also, I have used a wrench to spawn a "jail baton" so do know it works and is in the game, it just doesn't  add itself the way it should.

I also need help with an event. with it set up right it should :
brick activated - checks to see if player is right job, if player is right job, then asks if he wants to be teleported- on "yes", teleports player to set destination.
