So I've been making this weapon called the slapshot. Its a hockey stick.
This is what I need to know:
-How to remove hands
-How to color hands the correct color
-How to make missing faces visible
-How to slow animations
Here is a picture:

As far as i know, It's impossible to set the fake hand's color to that of what the player has.
You should just color it yellow.
And for the animations. You need to toy with your weapon states and animation length.
Missing faces visible.. Are you talking about reversing the backfaces?
Then it depends on whether you are using Milkshape or blender.

Thanks Pandan. With the help of Strato, I managed to fix the invisible faces, i removed the hands, and I believe I slowed the animation.

New problem; everything that I posted is fixed, but in third person my model still does the default melee animation while doing my own animation which looks awful. Help?
