because their political views border insanity have crossed the line in numerous ways to "prove" either their "manhood" (which is lost with what they're doing) and/or to show that they "stick with their party roots" (which is ironic because the republican party wasn't founded on such a ludicrous and bigoted ideology).

You're over generalizing things. There are plenty of other types of people in the mix. I've known liberal christians, brown townly opressive demmocrats and a few well mannered republicans in my travels.
