Oh and yes it is 33%, I read somewhere it was 70% but I guess I was wrong. Still most of the world is Christian.

Doesn't get much more handicapped than this.

Christian Science is an oxymoron. There is no science coming out of the Bible, which is what you're calling 'christian science'.

Creation Science is the explanation of the Bible and how it could of happened. Even though 33% seems low it's higher than any other. You have no common sense, in the pie chart it clearly states almost every religions percentage, Christianity's percentage is higher then any other.

Since you can't read pie charts, I'll write it down here.
Christianity - 33% <Highest
Muslims - 19.6%
Hindus - 15.9%
Non-Religious - 12.7
Chinese Folk - 6.4%
Buddhists - 5.9
Ethno Religionists - 3.8%
New Religionists - 1.7%
Sikhs - 0.4%
Jews - 0.2% <Lowest
Other - 0.4%

I copied this directly from the pie chart and only combined Athiests with Non-Religious because it's the same thing. As you may notice Christianity has the highest percentage.

I've already stated somewhere else that it is legal for a wife in China to bludgeon her cheating spouse to death so long as it is with her own hands. This isn't limited to Christianity.

That's irrelevant. Christianity isn't moral is the point.

And The Russian, you said that 33% was the majority of the planet's population. Can you not see the error?

The truthfulness of a religion is not decided by the number of followers.

Well you used that as the second example in part of your argument, so I found it quite relevant.

Russian, I've been on Inv3rted's stufflist for a while now and trust me, he's said far worse to me than that. But we've gotten past that point where we can converse somewhat more civilized.

You also forgot to add Scientology and Jedi to your religious list. Both are really poor examples of how people blindly follow something because it's cool. lol

Scientology is one tier below Mormonism in terms of handicapation.

I lol'd

anyone willing to believe that science and religion can coexist being acknowledged in the same room?

I think I stated that very case in this thread, thank you very much.

I hang out with Bisjac a lot and we have opposing beliefs on the subject. But we never allow it to interfere with our friendship.

Exactly, 33%, but I never said 33% was a majority, I said it compared to other religions not the whole world at the same time. Ratios br0.
Christianity : Buddhism
Christianity : Atheism
etc

Also I agree that the number of followers does not always tell it's truthfulness. At the same time I disagree, the people that follow understand why they are doing it, thus more followers means it makes sense to more people.

Offtopic: I heard of a religion where love was their main purpose, lol.

First impression of these forums I'd think everyone would be over religious ex. Super Puppy. But Blockland has one of the largest atheist group I've ever seen I bet 4chan people probably have more Christians.

Or I could just be wrong, considering other forums are afraid to bring up the religion war topics.

14 pages is too long for me to read in me precious free time; thank you for agreeing with me

awesome.

Oops maybe I did make that error. But that's not what I meant.

The need for religion to explain our world has become irrelevant with science. After that, religion is needed to show how one how to live their life. Seeing as Christianity and other aggressive religions do a very (very) poor job of that, they are useless and do more harm than good.

Example(of the last 5 words of the above statement): American politics in the past 300 years.
