Author Topic: Ports are forwarded %100 and still dead  (Read 635 times)

I used to be able to host on this connection... And suddenly I cannot.

I'm connected directly to the modem, here's a picture of the page:



Looks exactly like it did before when it worked.

Could have broke by an IP change or firewall/antivirus blocking it.

When I open a command prompt and run ipconfig, it says 192.168.0.50. I have no firewalls or antiviruses active.

lol was .50 defaulted to you? that's an obscure number for a router to assign.




Never thought of that. Yeah I'm show up on LAN, I'm guessing this is the problem.

You have to use Query LAN to join your own server, Internet or LAN. I would suggest going onto the IRC and asking someone to see if your server is dead to them or not. If yes, you did something wrong. If no, and/or people are joining, you did it right, good job.

Well it's magically working again after I changed the IP in the port settings from 196.168.0.50. to 192.168.0.1 and back to .50.
